Course Description: 

ElonmuskWHM was a prolific money laundering service advertising on darknet marketplaces and peer-to-peer exchanges offering anonymity by allowing customers to exchange cryptocurrency for cash mailed to the address of their choice. The service boasted that up to $1 million dollars per week could be cashed out for a customer. Though the service was highly rated through customer reviews, many prospective customers were suspicious the service was actually a sting operation by the government. The FBI and USPIS initiated an investigation into the money laundering network. The investigation led to the arrest of the U.S. based shipper, who admitted he had personally been involved in shipping over $24 million in cash by mail during his 18 months of employment. The shipper began cooperating with the government to continue the investigation of the man behind the service, others involved in his bulk cash supply network, as well as numerous customers served by the business, most of which were narcotics distributors and hackers. Following the coordinated arrest of those in the cash supply network and the true mastermind of the service, the government actually became the service to further key criminal investigations and completed the initial fear that the service was actually a government sting operation.
