This presentation will cover the process to submit legal
process, such as a subpoena or warrant, to Block, Inc., as well as a detailed
description of the subpoena returns that Block produces. It will give a basic
introduction to the products Block offers, including Square, Cash App, and
AfterPay, and discuss the nuances of the records produced for Square and Cash
App. Additionally, it will give information about how Block handles criminal
cases where the company has taken a financial loss and may be a victim, and how
Block approaches requests for testimony.

Linda Cieslak Sandoval is an Investigator and Law Enforcement Response Team Lead with Block, Inc., a California based financial technology company that offers an ecosystem of tools and services with a shared purpose of economic empowerment, including Square, Cash App, TIDAL, Afterpay, and TBD. Linda investigates potential criminal activity across all Block platforms, represents Block in both civil and criminal matters in court, and works closely with law enforcement to prosecute malicious actors and recover restitution. Prior to Block, Linda was a Special Agent with the U.S. Treasury Department. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two kids.
